There has been a steady snow-balling of bad news about China since about a year before they were going to host the Olympics. Nothing good is ever reported about that country nowadays. I mean, before with the Tibet human rights violations and violent suppression, and the Earthquake, people had no sympathy. Some people honestly believed that the earthquake was what China deserved for their actions in Tibet.
Innocent people, pandas, and children died and lost everything- but this is what they deserved because of their governments involvement in a conflit that they had nothing to do with. Hmm, glad the rest of the world didn’t use that reasoning when Katrina hit us…
So, now that China sh*t on everybody with their Olympic Opening Ceremony, the press has been relentless in taking every opportunity to make China look bad again. The little girl lip-synching, the age of the Chinese gymnasts, the fireworks being pre-recorded, the pollution, its getting kind of ridiculous. The US just looks like a bunch of sore losers.
That brings me to Hillary Clinton. She also couldn’t get good press for love or money- even when she was winning. People got on her for all kinds of little BS things. Furthermore, the Obama camp makes it seem as if, if you ever say anything bad about him, you’re racist. What’s up with that? I mean, he’s not a sore loser, since he won, but the US is winning at the Olympic games, getting a hefty haul of medals and still whining about everything. Oh well, at least we aren’t as bad as Spain.
